A             Rates

 

1              The following categories of rates apply:

               

Category

NSRCC member

Guest

Bungalow pass holders

SAFRA members

Public

 

2              The rates are subject to review and can be amended by the resort at any time.

 

3              Only holders of NSRCC membership cards are entitled to NSRCC members’ rates. These include ordinary members, spouse members, junior members. Spouse and children who are not members are not entitled to members’ rates.

 

4                Members can introduce guests to bowl at guests’ rate. The privilege to introduce guests applies only to ordinary members, spouse members and junior members. The member must accompany his guests at all time during play. Bungalow guests are permitted to bowl at members’ guest rates provided that the valid bungalow pass is presented. Only holders of valid bungalow passes are entitled to members’ guest rate.

 

C             Advance Bookings

 

5              Both members and non-members can make bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance.

 

6                Members are allowed to book up to 3 lanes per membership card during off-peak periods and 2 lanes per membership card during peak periods. Lanes numbers will be allocated upon arrival and adjoining lanes cannot be guaranteed. Non-members can only book 1 lane in advance per person. 

 

7              The Resort can allocate other bowlers to join any group on any lane during  peak periods. The Resort can assign up to a maximum of 6 persons per lane at any time.

 

8              One day notice is required for cancellation of advance booking. Otherwise, the booking will be treated as a “no show”. Bowlers who have incurred three “no-shows” in a 12-month period will be prohibited from making any advance booking for the next 6 months.

 

9              All bowlers must check-in on time. A grace period of 10 minutes from booking time would be given for all bowlers, after which the lane would be released to other bowlers in the queue.

 

 

 

D             Walk-in bookings

 

10            The resort will allocate lanes on a first-come-first served basis and can assign up to a maximum of 6 persons per lane at any time.

 

E                Prohibition

 

11            Children below 5 years old shall not be allowed to bowl. Those between 5 and 12 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times.

 

12            The following are not permitted - swimwear, running shorts, singlets, bare feet, wet and sweaty attire.

 

13            No other footwear, except proper bowling shoes, can be worn at the approach area. Socks must be worn with house shoes at all times. House shoes may not be worn to the restroom nor outside the bowling ally.

 

14            Bowlers shall not go beyond the foul line demarcation to retrieve the balls stuck in the gutter. Only staff are authorised to assist bowlers. No one shall walk on the lanes.

 

15            Food not purchased from the bowling centre café is prohibited in the bowling centre

 

16            Smoking and gambling are not permitted in the bowling centre.

 

17            Neither drinking not eating are permitted beyond the scoring tables.

 

18            Bowlers are not to rectify any machine fault. Malfunction of any bowling equipment must be brought to the attention of the staff of the bowling centre.

 

19            Practise throws are not permitted. A charge per frame at prevailing rate will be imposed for infringement.

 

F              General

 

20            A member shall be fully responsible for the conduct and behaviour of the children and guests he brings to the bowling centre. He shall be liable to the club for any damage or injury caused by the child and his guest and shall keep the club fully indemnified in response of any claim, action or demand arising from the child or guests action.

 

21            The resort has the right to enforce rules and is empowered to warn bowlers and ask bowlers who make a nuisance of themselves and cause disturbance to other bowlers to leave the bowling centre and the resort premises.

 

22            The management has the right to reserve some or all the bowling lanes for leagues, tournaments or clinics.

 

23            The club reserves the right to close any lanes for repairs.

 

24            The club shall not be liable for any mishap or injury to or any loss or damage incurred by bowlers during or as a result of the activity.

 

25            The resort reserves the right to amend the bye-laws when deemed necessary.

 

H             Etiquette

 

26            Bowlers shall exercise due consideration to others.

 

27            Bowlers shall not use anyone’s else’s bowl without permission.

 

28            When 2 bowlers are ready to stand on the approach, the bowler on the left shall give way to the player on the right.

 

29            Bowlers shall give way to any player on an adjacent lane who is ready to bowl.
